Potres jačine oko 7,1 prema Rihteru pogodio je jutros Tadžikistan, izvijestio je Euromediteranski seizmološki centar (EMSC).
Kako navodi EMSC, potres je registriran oko 8:37 sati po lokalnom vremenu, na dubini od deset kilometara.

Epicentar potresa bio je oko 82 kilometara od najbliže granice s Kinom. Snažno se osjetio u Kašgaru i Artuksu u zapadnom dijelu regije Šinjiang.
